Overview of Contest
IXIA HiTech Business Contest is a national level competition for business plans based on technological innovations.
Students who have innovative ideas for IT related products and/or services are encouraged to take it to the next level and build a business plan based on those ideas. The objective of the Contest is to provide a meaningful learning experience for students who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity at some point in their careers. It offers a
$20.000 prize for the winner team to fund their starting business.
Unlike other competitions, the organizers will not claim any Intellectual Property or commercial rights for the ideas or the business.
For the final stage participating teams are required to submit a business plan and to present a proof of concept for their product. The business plan must be for a start-up and must address the entire business concept including implementation. All participating students will receive feedback from a highly professional evaluation board.
